All associations must be representative of industries dealing, in their respective countries or at European level, with the manufacture of compound animal feedingstuffs.
FEFAC is composed of: 

- active members: national associations representing the compound feed producers of countries of the European Union.

- observer members: national associations representing the compound feed producers of EU candidate countries.

- associate members: associations representing the compound feed producers of third – non EU candidate – countries as well as  European federations whose field of activities is closely linked to animal nutrition.
